Conditions report — Purgatory

Local guide

Purgatory sits at 8,793–10,822 ft on the dry side of the San Juans. Storm cycles tend to deliver lighter, drier snow than the I-70 corridor. When a Pacific system rolls through, Purgatory and Wolf Creek light up together. Mid-mountain (Lift 3 area) holds snow quality longest.

Most blue and easier black terrain groomed nightly. Demon and the upper black runs left natural.
